Visiting a new church can bring questions, uncertainty, and even a little skepticism or fear. We understand that, and we want you to feel at ease. That's why we have put together a few common questions to help give you a better sense of who we are and what to expect. We hope that these answers will help you feel more comfortable and confident as you take the step to join us. We can't wait to meet you!
What is it like?
When you walk through the doors at Living Word, you'll find a welcoming, family-oriented environment. We're a friendly church with a casual atmosphere where people truly care about each other. You can grab a cup of coffee in the lobby, enjoy some conversation, and feel right at home. Expect heartfelt worship, practical teaching from God's Word, and a genuine community of believers.
Where do I park?
Parking is easy! As you pull into our lot, you'll see marked spaces right in front of the church steps that are reserved just for first-time guests. We want to make it simple for you. If the lot is full, feel free to park in the grassy area out front. You can just pull in and park where you can. We are glad you are here!
What do I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Some come in shorts and flip-flops, others wear jeans, and a few prefer a suit and tie. We're casual and welcoming, and what you wear is totally up to you. Come as you are!
What about my kids?
We love kids at Living Word! Sunday mornings offer Roots Kids during the main service. Your children will be cared for in a safe, age-appropriate environment where they can learn about Jesus in fun and meaningful ways.
How can I get connected?
The best way to get connected is to fill out a Connection Card, which you can find at the welcome table or available digitally. Once you do, someone from our team will follow up with you to help you find your place and get involved. Whether it's a small group, serving opportunity, or just grabbing coffee, we'd love to help you plug in.
